Traveller’s Joy, Old man’s beard. The familiar native woodland and hedge climber, which is a vigorous plant sometimes climbing over 10 m (32 ft) into trees. The young shoots are edible, and the leaves and shoots used medicinally. Stems are good for basketry. A good bee plant. Likes part or full shade; hardy to -25°C. Stratification: CS12.
